Date of establishment : February 20, 1970

Located in Sanchong City, formerly Taipei County, the Company was named SAN JIANG ELECTRIC Machinery Co., Ltd. with a paid-in capital of NT$1 million.

The Company moved to its current location in Shulin District, New Taipei City, with the maintenance of Taipower’s transformers and reactors as its main business.

Won the title of 1st-class 15KV transformer factory by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).

Won the title of quality control qualified export factory by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology, and Inspection of MOEA.

The Industrial Development Bureau of MOEA classified us as a 1st-class factory for 15KV and 24KV transformers.

Technical cooperation with Huade Electronic Co. of the United States to manufacture pavilion-mounted transformers and sell the products back to the U. S. In the same year, we were approved as a quality control 1st-class export factory by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology, and Inspection of MOEA.

Both sectional switch and pole-mounted transformer with stainless steel housing passed Taipower's final design test. In the same year, we increased our capital to NT$20 million and changed our name to SAN JIANG ELECTRIC MFG. CO., LTD.

Our pavilion-mounted transformers and improved bushing-type pole-mounted transformers passed the factory inspection and finalization test of Taipower.

- Won the evaluation of Taipower’s Nuclear Products Division as a Class B nuclear energy quality factory.

- The high-ignition-point single-phase pavilion-mounted transformer passed Taipower's type test.

- High-efficiency (loss reduced by 50%) pole-mounted transformers, improved bushing-type pole-mounted transformers, pavilion-mounted transformers, and high-ignition-point pavilion-mounted transformers passed Taipower's final testing.

- The sealed pole-mounted transformer passed Taipower's factory inspection and finalization test and received the first batch of 100 units to be installed and tested in Taiwan.

- The single-phase small/single-phase thin pavilion-mounted transformer passed Taipower's finalization test and received the first production order of 1,200 units.

Comprehensively promoted the ISO-9000 quality assurance system.

Obtained French’s Bureau Veritas S.A. (BVQI) ISO 9001 certification.

Signed a technical cooperation agreement with AlliedSignal Technologies Inc. of the United States to produce amorphous cores.

The amorphous core rod-mounted transformer passed Taipower's evaluation and finalization test.

The amorphous core pavilion-mounted transformer passed Taipower's evaluation and finalization test.

The improved bushing-type pole-mounted transformer passed Taipower's evaluation and finalization test.

Passed the laboratory evaluation of the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation.

Passed the original factory certification of high-voltage electrical equipment by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The new version of the "Pavilion Type" specification is being finalized.
